Security Certificate Error Notifications Popping Up on Android Side of the Display
Several users have notified us of obtrusive Security Certificate notifications that pop up on the display while browsing the web using the built-in Android Browser. These errors are easily disabled, and require unchecking a setting in the Android Browser settings to stop them from appearing.
Use the following steps to disable this feature:
- Press the Home button and open your Browser app.
- Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the app and select Settings
- Select Privacy & Security and check the box next to Show security warnings
Additionally, Certificate Errors can be caused when the Automatic Date & Time feature has been disabled on the panel. To enable this function, navigate to your Android Settings menu, select "Date & Time", then check the option next to "Automatic Date & Time".
