Release Notes for 6000A+ (Firmware date January 26, 2024)

Here is a detailed list of the changes, improvements, and bugs that have been affected by the firmware release for the 6000A+ panels. This firmware has a timestamp of January 26, 2024.


UI Optimizations: We have added better wallpaper customization, the ability to Format the Home screen, and a new background with QR code enrollment to the Clear Touch Experience app.

  1. Home screen “Theme” customization: In Settings > Personal > Desktop theme: Theme mode has been added the user may select EDLA or Classic mode 

    1. EDLA is the Google-determined UI; 

    2. Classic keeps Google’s requirements (the search bar and frequently used apps tray) but adds Collage and Chorus to a default app list

  2. New UI. We have added the Clear Touch logo and QR code on their own “layer”. The QR code is direct access to the CT Experience App which means quick access to training for using our software and solutions

  3. Long-press the home screen to access changing the background and screen lock Wallpaper

  4. Chorus app available from side toolbar while viewing non-Android inputs


Improved Background Software Integrations - Things like Command, Chorus, and Snowflake on the internal PC will have improved functionality


  1. The Command app will now keep its enrollment after a new user profile was added.

  2. Snowflake auto-activation has been achieved.

  3. Update to Chorus v7.4.3 

    1. Update Google Drive integration

    2. Fix an issue while accessing some Math tools

    3. Allow functionality with Multi-Window mode

    4. Open files saved from Chorus Online

  4. Mac Multi-touch achieved when paired with the NTQ Touch Driver

  5. Changed available background options in the Note application.


Optimize System Settings and Hardware implementation with apps - We added the ability for meeting applications to use the internal microphone and improved functionality if the Android disable feature is implemented. In addition, the network configurations are optimized.

    1. "Home" icon removed

    2. "Crop" utility removed

  4. Repair Google Meet and Zoom ability to pick up audio from the panel during a Zoom meeting
