Install Collage updates through Command

Here are the latest versions of Collage for each model series:

6000K+, 8086MAX, 7000XT, 6000A+, & NEXT HubCurrently no limitationCollage_Server_5.9.1.7471.apk

Please note that the 6000U series cannot update past Collage v2. This is due to a chipset limitation. Although you can successfully install a newer version of Collage on the 6000U series panel through Command, this version will have limited functionality. We do NOT recommend installing new versions (> v2.0) on the 6000U series panel. Please confirm the model of panels receiving the installation before attempting the update. The 6000U series was available from 2017-2018 and will have a model number in this format L55EB, L65EB, L70EB, 75EB, or L86EB. As always, you can call Support for assistance at 864-643-5045.

Please refer to this guide for pushing the Collage App to all panels enrolled in the Command interface.

Add the Collage App to the App library

  1. Open the Advanced dropdown on the left
  2. Select Apps

  3. Hover over the Add button and select "Upload file"

- Locate .APK file on PC to upload into the App library

Option 1: Push through App Management

- Select Advanced > Apps

- Select "Install" next to the Collage application.

- Select the "Timed" option to enable installing an application at a scheduled time.

- From the Device or Group list, select the Devices that need the update.

- After selecting the devices, select Install

Note: Because Collage is an application rooted in the firmware, this silent installation will cause the Collage Interface window to become primary (pop-up) on the display once the update is complete.

Option 2: Add the application through a Profile

- Select "Details" for the desired Profile

- Select "Edit" to open the Profile for editing

- Select Apps management

- Select "Add apps" to add Collage from the App library

(An APK can be uploaded from this location, but in this guide we have already uploaded Collage to the App library in Resources)

- Select the checkbox for Collage.

- Select Add

- Select Save and Sync.

This will install the Collage app for the panels within this Profile. If an Associated device shows as "Non-compliant" the Collage installation may not have occurred yet.

Note: Because Collage is an application rooted in the firmware, this silent installation will cause the Collage Interface window to become primary (pop-up) on the display once the update is complete.
